General Bulk was founded in 1994 by various chartering offices and joint ventures. Since 1998, however, we have acted as a fully independent cooperative inland shipping company. This way we can complement our expertise and knowledge at all times with the experience of our independent inland shipping entrepreneurs.

General Bulk specialises in transporting all types of dry cargo via national and international waterways. From quay to quay, this is currently carried out by a varied fleet of approximately 40 inland vessels. As a point of contact, we attach importance to a healthy and reliable relationship with our customers, members and shareholders. In this way we try to organise and supervise all transport in a professional manner.
